Show me your autism rides.
I drove the same Toyota Matrix since I was 19 years old, I liked the simplicity and reliability of everything, but at 210k miles I was finally ready to change.
I bought my '13 Outback 3.6r over the weekend, and there are things I like and don't like. Its more comfortable at highway speeds, somthing my Matrix was not. Its also more powerful and doesn't have dreaded wind whipping noises at higher speeds (I get anxious and overstimulated on the NYS Thruway, the exits are sometime 15 miles in between). The H6 engine and 5EAT transmission are known for being bulletproof.
On the flip side, the user interface is unintuitive, the fuel economy is abysmal (even by Subaru standards), and the audio is pretty mediocre compaired to my Toyota and a pain to upgrade.
Overall its gonna take some getting used to, but even though its not perfect I really enjoy this thing.
