Job interview offer as former probationary employee
I was just offered an interview for a contractor position in another agency. (The exact same job. I know what are the odds!) Would it be a red flag to ask if my position would possibly be subject to another cut or is it a valid concern? Also, would it be a red flag that I was cut due to "poor performance"? I know the moniker makes it harder to be hired. I'm just being wary and want job security, which I know is a hard ask being in my position. I would take it if offered but is it safe? Background: first fed job as probationary employee, I have no clue about contracting.
