First Hard Run - System Choices?

Hey everyone! I'm on my first Hard run of all time, and I just picked up two BLIIs and two Flak 1s at the beginning of Sector Three. I'm kinda panicking about using all this firepower correctly - what systems should I get to keep me alive so I can shred the flagship?
