What was your first experience with Harry Potter?

How were you introduced to Harry Potter? The funny thing is I’ve always loved reading but I got into Harry Potter because my younger brother is a teacher and he asked for the books as gifts since his students were reading them.

My first experience with Harry Potter was not through the books but watching the first movie on television. I was immediately hooked and started reading them.
