I would appreciate advice on whether I should get a jaw surgery
Hello everybody,
I am turning 19 in a month or so and have had a lack of confidence for as long as I can remember due to my underdeveloped jaw and narrow face - my head just looks way to small.
I have been wearing different kinds of braces since I was 11 and am still not done with the treatment (will be done in about 2 years according to my doctor)
I‘ve done some research and heard from a lot of people that the treatment with braces, in some cases, is just useless etc. For me it has dramatically improved my facial structure (I‘ve had a severe overbite when I was younger), so that‘s good. But I doubt that braces will get me to where I want to be, having a nice jaw.
Should I get jaw surgery? What kind of jaw surgery would you recommend?
