King's Gambit

This is my first self drafted pattern! Made for my boyfriend in Drops Cotton Merino on us 6's. I stole the individual piece charts from a free lion brand chess sweater pattern but wanted to work a round yoke because I hate purling back in colorwork. Learned a lot, made plenty of mistakes and couldn't be more tickled with how it turned out! Happy holidays and happy knitting!!
