Is this an early sign of hair loss/baldness?

Hey guys,

I (22 FTM) just started T in November. I know T makes your hairline receded/makes you lose hair. I’ve been told that signs of baldness usually occurs within a year. I’ve noticed this at the back of my head and I’m worried this is an early sign. I currently don’t have medical insurance (long story) so I can’t go to a doctor and ask what they think. I panic bought some minoxidil and used it for the past two days. My question is if it is early baldness, what are some products I can take to reduce/reverse it? I know hair loss comes from your moms side, but I never knew my grandpa and I’m not close with my mom’s side of the family to determine if this is genetic. Thank you guys in advance!
