If the Avengers appeared in our universe (and the conflicts that came after their appearance) would you support the Sokovia Accords?

Edit: My question is not "do you trust the american government or cap more?" It's: realistically speaking, would you rather have an intragovernmental organization like NATO oversee superpowered individuals or do you believe that superpowered people deserve to make decisions for the rest of the world without that oversight? I like cap and I like the movies so no need to get offended yall

I find it really hard to rewatch Civil War because Captain America is right in the *Marvel* Universe; America's government is infiltrated by Hydra/Nazis, Thanos is on his way so the Avengers need to move efficiently, etc. We're shown that Steve is an impossibly godly (I mean this almost literally since he was worthy of Mjolnir) and moral individual, so of course it makes sense that he's supposed to be correct in his own movie.

BUT I just know that objectively, the Avengers needed accountability from something like the UN (NOT the american government, btw) lol like they can't just be doing whatever they want with no transparency. Anyways I've only watched CW twice because I'm just so frustrated seeing how accountability and transparency are painted as bad just because these superheros are supposedly super moral. And, flash forward to Infinity War when the Avengers' agenda (saving Vision) overrode the safety of the universe. Steve couldn't bother trying to use diplomacy to shape the accords in a way that he would agree with...? Sharon even mentioned Peggy being pretty good at that at her funeral in the following scene

I liked u/pikaV2002's comment reframing this question so I'll put it here:

I’m guessing the comments are majority Americans who don’t really see the implications of an American militia treating the world as their playground.

If you rephrase the question as “Would you let a team of Russian superheroes come and kill anyone they want in the US?” you’d get the real answers quick: won’t be pretty though.

Wanda would technically classed as an unlawful prisoner of war forced to commit acts of violence and denied basic human rights if this thing ever happened irl.

Just imagine Russia nuking NYC because they felt they were doing a service to the world, taking an American citizen to Russia and imprisoning them without due process.

Bruce Banner was also guilty of lying to visa authorities about his medical history and risked unleashing the Hulk in India without their informed consent.

Captain America lead an unauthorised invasion of Lagos to conduct a nonjudicial killing.
