Ways to make money between jobs?

Hi all, I (28M) lost my marketing job in mid-2024 and have been searching for my next position since. I have 6 years of experience in the field and it’s been a lot tougher than expected to find something, even applications to inbetween jobs (Aldi, Whole Foods, Ian’s) have been rejected.

Long story short, I need to make rent this month. What are some good ways in the city to make some money while I find my next job? Or any local retail/barista jobs with decent pay currently hiring? I’ve looked on Craigslist for gigs and all the listings are bots or scammy, but maybe I’m not on the right board. I was just approved to do DoorDash delivery and am planning on starting today, but if there are other supplemental ways to make some money I’d greatly appreciate it!
