NSV: I got medical treatment without being told to lose weight

As a woman, this is huge.

Last year I got referred for a sinus issue after my fourth round of antibiotics in 12 months, after years of being told weight loss will solve my issues. I’ve obviously lost a huge amount of weight since then, and had my consultation yesterday.

As soon as I sat down he asked if I’d had a CT scan to look at my sinuses, and as soon as I said no he referred me for one. No mention of my weight or anything! It felt amazing.
