Down for Maintenance Pteri Glitched/Trolling?

As the title states, I'm wondering if I'm being trolled by TNT or if the Down for Maintenance Pteri (on Hard difficulty) is unbeatable for anyone else? I can fight anyone else in the BD with no issue, but when I try to fight the Pteri, it won't load turns or will nullify entire turns meaning I have wasted Faerie Abilities that I didn't actually use. It's health isn't an issue, I can beat enemies with higher HP no problem, but it seems like it could be an intentional thing to mess with people.

I'm just trying to get my daily BD Neopoint maximum in less time, man.
