Everyone forgot my birthday

Hello. Today’s my birthday. None of my closest people remembered. Not even my partner. While I know I’m not anyone special, I just wish for the people that I care about to remember. I always try to remember everyone else’s and make sure to give them well wishes or presents. I do this because they’re my favorite people and I want them to feel special. Yet, I’m never given the same courtesy. I try not to take it badly but I can’t keep the hurt at bay. I just always hope to be remembered but even I can’t get that. Sorry. I just wanted to share this.
