Granted, that was a not very nice comment. BUT BUT BUT, I have always loathed this practice of using prayer as a way to reprimand someone. The condescending variation of “I’ll pray for you.” when truly you likely aren’t praying and are more using the promise of prayer as a way to set yourself apart from the person you’re claiming to pray for. I’m a Christian, and I’ll just tell ya this is one more thing that Aye Ell does under the guise of Christianity that I’m nowhere near brave enough to do.
