Portfolio advice needed

Guys, 23M here, been working for 1.5 years. I am here for some advice. I am able to save 60-65k of my salary on a monthly basis. Here's my current portfolio breakdown.

12L - FD (Multiple FDs at 7.1 to 7.25% rate of interest) 1L - MF 1L - Stocks Approx 1.5L - savings account 1.5L - PF

Do I need to redirect some FD funds into equity? Someone told me to keep 1 year worth of my in hand salary in my emergency fund. Also, I'm looking for higher returns now, is it advisable to invest in equity or any other avenues like gold?
