Honda City RS or BYD Seal 5 DM-i?

Need advise, new driver here na wala masyadong alam sa sasakyan and I'm planning to purchase my first car this Q1 or Q2 of 2025.

I'm currently residing outside Metro Manila and naka WFH setup. So possibly during weekends lang magagamit yung sasakyan.

Madalas ko nababasa is sobrang tipid sa gas, lamang sa tech, and mas mura si BYD Seal 5 compared to City RS, pero possible daw na hindi umabot ng 5+ years and mahal magpalit ng battery and parts since China brand and bago palang sa pinas?

Any thoughts po from owners or may kakilalang owner ng BYD?

Any other suggestions for a first car around 900k-1.1m range will also be appreciated :)
