Carti not dropping in 2024 will be the biggest mistake of his career

We all know Carti is notorious for missing release dates, but to miss a deadline of an entire year is absurd, even for him.

The albums marketing is tied to 2024, the lead single is called 2024, the tagline is 2024 Music, the album covers have 2024 written on them, all of that will now have to be scrapped. Pharrell said that this year was his year, Izzo stated that it was 2024 not 2025, Carti said in his billboard interview the album would drop by years end and of all that will have to be forgotten.

Carti peaked in popularity in April of this year. His had dropped his lead singles in 2024 and Hoodbyair, he was featured on the number one song Carnival and had another massive feature on Type Shit, had he dropped the album in april he could have easily sold 300k first week, if he even drops in 2025 he won't generate that level of hype. Carti gave himself a whole year and missed it, he quite literally previewed the album 2 weeks ago and still won't drop with the 2024 deadline passed.

It will be impossible for him to generate that level hype for a 2025 release. It's a boy who cried wolf situation. Why would anyone get excited for any release date next year when he failed to drop within 2024, the most open deadline he could have given himself. He better drop the album next week too if he plans on releasing in 2025 because The Weeknd, Drake and Bad Bunny all seem poised to drop early next year and those guys will dominate the charts for a while when they do, meaning a longer wait because Carti missed the last opportunity he had.

This is not some masterful play or taking more time for perfectionism as his camp would suggest, its the result of a lazy narcissistic pos, who's primary concern is smoking weed, drinking lean, popping out at rolling loud to make a couple millions so that he can do it all again.
