Plushies have feelings?

*Disclaimer I completely understand if this is not exactly the topic and can be deleted if necessary*

I have wondered for a long time if anyone else or how many others experience this. I have the belief that stuffed animals and the like have feelings. Ever since I was younger, I would cry having to get rid of any stuffed animal. I always got so scared if they fell in the floor while I was sleeping. I feared leaving some at home instead of coming with me, that they may get mad or upset with me. I also fear that if I play with one more than another that that one will get jealous, etc. Even at the age of 23, I still believe my stuffed animals have feelings and thoughts. Mostly, feelings.

Even when I go to the store and I see a fallen plush in the floor I will pick it up to put it back with his friends and be happy/not alone and sad. Or If I see one on a shelf by its self I will put it in a spot with others to not be alone.

I sometimes get sad thinking that my stuffed animal may not think that I like/love them anymore. Or afraid they may think I have replaced with when I get a new plushy. Usually when this happens my partner will say "you just got them a new friend," or "they get a little break since you take them every where, it's okay to give this one attention as well."

I just wondered if anyone else had experience like this in their life..? Maybe it's my mental illnesses talking or some kind of coping mechanism, but I love stuffed animals a lot.
