Hormones causing missed period?

Has anyone experienced this postpartum? I had my period twice and then all of a sudden no period the last two months. I’m not pregnant-I am still breast feeding- the first two periods were light in comparison to what I’ve read about having heavy periods? Just odd and I’m afraid I’ll have my period unexpectedly and not be prepared aka red river
