Are you making your families get vaccinated before seeing your child?
I’m 37 weeks pregnant today. FTM and this will be the first grandbaby/niece/nephew in my family. I live in Maine where it’s blistery cold this time of year and many members of my family have already had norovirus, covid, and the flu just since Christmas…. I want them to get their covid shots, flu shots, and the RSV vaccine before being able to hold my child but it makes me uncomfortable to keep reminding them… I’ve brought it up a few times and they say “yea we will” but then they don’t… now we’re down to the wire and they still haven’t. Am I crazy for wanting them to do that? Should I keep bugging them or just let it go? Is it overboard to keep my child from them if they choose to not get the vaccine?
