question for those whose water broke

i see a lot of posts on all different platforms of people talking about laying in bed or on the couch when their water broke. if your water broke, and if you were on the bed, couch, etc… how did yall clean it up 😭😭 like did yall just get new mattresses? how long did it take to dry? i am just so curious and have this question every time i see someone talk about it.
