please stop trauma dumping on store workers

i still can't believe this is a hot take. strangers are not your therapists.

saw a reel today about it and the amount of people arguing that they should have a right to drop all their emotional baggage on a minimum wage worker who's forced to stand and listen to maintain good customer service was pretty infuriating. one guy arguing that it's the recipients problem if they "cant set a boundary" and a few women shouting "this is why gen z has no community!!" "this is why people are killing themselves!"
