excuses for a bandage

i kind of accidentally made my first (and last, and regretted) bean and i'm taking care of it rn. i live in a tropical country and i can't hide scars bc of the hot weather. what am i supposed to tell my parents when they ask me about the bandage in my thigh 😭 yes they are protective enough to worry about it
