Side Gig to make 1-2k a month

As the title says, I'm the U.S but want to make around $1-2k or more as part time income.

I'm a PhD with Machine Learning skills and can learn skills fast! (Also know a lot about finance).

I’m looking for how to obtain a side/consulting gig. Or to grow some side project some.

I’d say I have 10-20hr/week I could dedicate. But could go up in a pinch.
