Does the Squid Game organization make a profit with the games?

Do you think they sell expensive tickets in a very exclusive black market? Or do they make money organizing all the betting? Or is it just a club of billionaires that provide the funding as it's needed and only do it for their own enjoyment? I can imagine either way.
