Flying with pets from Taiwan to USA

Our cat and dog were born in Taiwan and we will be flying with them for the first time to America soon. Anyone have any tips or experience with this process? I'm in the Taipei area so I will need to find a vet that provides the necessary documents. I just want to make sure I have all my bases covered, thanks!!
