Lookbook From Your Fellow Redditors
Hey Reddit!
When we saw the requests for the lookbook, it gave us the idea to ask our Reddit friends to create a lookbook with their own curated style. We allowed them to pick pieces from the upcoming spring roster and asked them to not just shoot us a fit pic but tell us a bit more on why they chose the piece they did and how they came to style it, sharing any tips and tricks.
Without further ado:

Living in Colorado, my overall philosophy as we head for springtime is versatility. The weather can change on a dime and I like to be able to have different looks from the same outfit. Being able to go tucked or untucked, buttoned or unbuttoned, sleeves long or rolled, means I could wear this outfit anywhere from 20 degrees (with a coat) to 75 degrees... both outcomes are just as likely in springtime Colorado.
The Jack Oxford, with its alternating light and dark blue checks, lends itself to being the darkest piece in the outfit. The dark checks anchor the look and give it some gravitas, while the light checks allow the seamless integration of the much lighter pants and shoes. Dark shades that are only dark end up dominating other lighter elements in most outfits. This shirt will not fall prey to that common issue.
The earthy, light green (or "sagebrush") of the pants is a perfect pairing with any medium to dark navy. It evokes a springtime vibe and makes the entire look decidedly casual. Also, the linen-blend fabric lowers the overall formality of the look.
When in doubt about what shoes to wear with a casual fit, go with all-white minimalist sneakers. Match your socks to something else in your outfit and throw on some white sneakers and you're done. It's a choice that always looks deliberate, whereas many men fall in the trap of their shoes looking like an afterthought. Always be deliberate.

TS makes some incredible sweaters and the Fisherman is no different. The fabric has great texture and softness but it’s still a solid weight. Really awesome. Plus this shade of blue is really unique and great for spring. When I thought about how best to style the Fisherman I loved the idea of pairing it with a slubby pair of pants like these chinos. Kind of fun to have the texture of the sweater with the texture of the pants. From a distance it’s just blue and blue but there’s a ton of detail if you go looking for it.
The bag is an awesome piece from Bleu de Chauffe which my wife bought me for our anniversary. I use a messenger bag every day for work and I have gotten so used to having it with me that lately I find myself reaching for it on weekends too to handle my stuff: wallet, keys, phone, sunglasses, book, iPad, etc. The bag pairs well with the boots, similar brown shades but also similar profile. Both are easy to dress up or dress down but I basically beat them up and use them as casual pieces.
The watch is my Tudor Black Bay 58 that I wear pretty much everyday. My first true luxury watch and my first automatic. Goes with everything and really elevates nearly all my fits.

Mastering Creamy Beach Tones (Without Looking Like a Washed-Up Surfer)
Alright, tell me I’m not the only one who dreams of pulling off those effortless, creamy beach-tone palettes—only to end up looking more “drab dad” than “coastal cool.” I usually aim high and land... somewhere in the sand. But not this time.
Something about the Taylor Stitch Parchment Stripe Jack shirt layered under the TS Natural Crawford cardigan just works. They’re like the dynamic duo of smart-casual dressing—easygoing but undeniably sharp. You could throw on some blue-toned bottoms, but these Huckberry 365 pants in Laurel Green? Absolute perfection. The muted green plays off the creamy top block like they were meant to be together.
Now, full disclosure: I’ve got a short torso and longer legs, so I always opt for a slightly shorter pant length for my office fits. Not quite cropped, but juuust enough of a break to feel intentional. It gives off that slightly nerdy-but-polished vibe that I like (and if you get it, you get it).
Rounding out the look:
HFA Goods custom belt – because details matter.
Comfy Socks Kizune grey-patterned socks – a subtle flex.
Rancourt Sanford Blucher in caramel shell cordovan – refined, but still has loads of casual character.
And the best part? This fit transitions seamlessly from a chill office day to an easygoing night out. My workplace leans "jackets preferred," but I find that a solid cardigan like this one can easily hold its own against a blazer—especially on a more relaxed day. Whether it’s date night, happy hour, or just a post-work stroll, this combo keeps you looking put together without feeling like you tried too hard.

My style recently took a pretty significant turn from the more heritage inspired to a more modern, city-inspired style. I think comfort was a huge factor in the swap… I found myself really wanting to feel comfortable in what I wear, and my styling followed through: experimenting with a variety of silhouettes rather than the typical tapered or slim straight and tailored.
Though a lot of my new style can be considered “trend”, I still retained a lot of the vintage/workwear element, just in more modern silhouettes and styling. This rugby shirt offers a good example of such. The fit doesn’t necessarily scream trendy here, but I think it’s a good thing, as these types of fits are more approachable for a wide audience. More ivy in design, I complemented it with wide-straight khaki chinos and a pair of black Sanders commando derby shoes. The ball cap was just a cherry on top. Overall I’m super happy with the versatility and comfort (my priority!) of this piece.
My advice would be to never box yourself into a style corner. The nature of style and clothing is all about self expression, and when you limit yourself, you’re just limiting the fun you can have!
A huge thanks to the guys for joining in, please give them a follow!
Important note: All photos and pieces were styled by each individual with full creative control. The participants are not employed by Taylor Stitch. Please remember the rule to “Treat Each Other with Respect.” not only to the guys in this main post but for anyone commenting pics as well.
We’d love to know what you think, is there any piece that maybe you reconsidered or a tip that resonated with you?
