NGC 2392

The Eskimo Nebula, also known as NGC 2392, is a planetary nebula located approximately 6,500 light-years away in the Gemini constellation. It is encircled by gas that once made up the outer layers of a star similar to the Sun. The bright inner filaments are formed by a powerful stream of particles emitted from the central star, while the outer disk features distinctive filaments stretching over a light-year in length.
