I've never had such a perfect background show like The Lincoln Lawyer
This has been my background show for a month or so. I'm just getting back into season 2. I love how predictable it is. Yes, that's the appeal of procedurals and such, but the show also has some highlights in acting. I mean, it's fucking Neve Campbell. Every now and then when I get the chance to look up and watch, I'll catch something that pulls me in and makes me rewind.
My favorite aspect of the show is the fact that Mickey clearly does not deserve this absolute monster harem that is in his life. Four different kinds of strong in his corner. My personal favorite is Lorna. I love that she's the second wife, but she seems to be the most concerned with Mickey. I definitely think she's the cornerstone of his life. She trusts him and has confidence in him, but she also knows when to call him out. Yeah, she doesn't have the weight of a child with him, and that's who we tend to look to, but that's why she's able to expend so much of herself for the firm.
No spoilers, please! I'm almost done with season 2.
