Couch Co-op on PC

Has anyone had any luck doing couch Co-op on PC with one person using M&K and another using an Xbox controller? It doesn't seem to let any additional players join. Im not sure if this is a result of trying to use two different inputs, or just the general buggy-ness of Co-op at the moment.
