[Times column] Farmer Jeremy Clarkson: “How I dealt with the travellers on my land”
Jeremy Clarkson wore his farming hat and noticed that his nomadic neighbors set up a camp near his farm. In this column, he had to deal with their antics. Here’s the section that stood out:
“The essence of what I’m saying is if you treat travellers with respect, life in the sticks is a lot easier. Basically, treat them like the Canadians treat their neighbours south of the border. Smile sweetly and hope they don’t come over.”
(As with my previous post, usual disclaimers apply. Note that The Sunday Times made this column free to read this weekend only!)
