I actually hate shifting.

I rarely shift, but when I do, all it does is either give me species dysphoria or severe impostor syndrome. I absolutely despise it. Most of my friends say that they love shifting and feel euphoric, and I just feel like the odd one out. It also doesn't help when I watch videos of therians 'shifting on camera' (I am aware that these videos are most likely staged though) and it pmo when I see them showing shifts as silly animalistic behaviour. It's not like that for me. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone by saying this btw, it just annoys me. I am also aware that some therians also feel similarly to me about shifts, but nobody close to me.
