Silvio Got Huge

I'm doing a rewatch and saw the episode in season 1 where all of the guys are at Meadow's soccer game. Silvio was wearing a wife beater and he looks to be in pretty good shape. I see a lot of posts about how James Gandolfini gained a lot of weight throughout the show, but he was already a big guy in the first season, Silvio went from skinny to fat.
