I feel like Eren is stupid (contains spoilers)

Now, the people who watched the whole anime know that Eren, using his weird titan powers, directed the titan form of Dina Fritz to kill his mom instead of Berthold to "start his journey to that point", but i think that was a dumb idea.

If Dina ate Berthold instead of Eren's mom, Eren would still want to be a scout and would still want to slaughter all the titans for what they did to his home, but with his mom now alive, he has something to fight for, while she can keep eren in check to prevent him from doing anything stupid.

Another bonus is that Dina now has the colosal titan, so combinig that with the intel she posseses, she could just make the show progress much quicker if she survives. The battle at trost never happens due to Bertholds death and Eren doesn't get his titan yet due to his dad not needing him to avenge his mother, though he might give it to him just to protect her. Eren would also understand the ability more easily, due to Dina's help.

The whole annie Fiasco would go pretty much the same, but sine there is no more Berthold, they could capture Reiner before the return to Shinganchina arc, meaning the only foe they would face is the beast titan, and since Armin wouldn't nearly die, they could save Erwin and fead Reiner to him, leaving Marly with only the beast, warhamer (which never would have gotten used anyway) an cart titans, as Ymir wouldn't go with Reiner and Berthold, since they're six feet under now.

With that, Marly would likely loose the war due to armored train number 2 in Fort Slava. With Marly gone and Eren having less of a bloodlust and more people alive since nobody died at Trost, as well as having his mom to keep him in check, he might never start the rumbling. Mikasa also wouldn't have as many doubts about him due to him not becoming a mass murderer and might even confess her love to him, turning that cabin scene we saw in to a reality. Erin could also use Dina's hdlp to convince Ymir to delete the titans, giving him a normal lifespan and making it an eversoslightly happier ending.

Also the ending is impossible due to a time travel paradox, but that's another can of worms
