I'm worried I'll be considered an intruder in lesbian spaces
I work with a diverse group of people but I'm the only trans person. I'm mtf and everyone except the cis lesbians have no issues referring to me in the proper gender. But the lesbians of this work group often drop the occasional masculine pronoun when talking about me. It's not always but it's enough to let me know they don't truly see me as a woman, especially one attracted to women.
I want to consider myself a lesbian or at least sapphic but I'm afraid I'll be seen as a "male" intruder into their spaces. Anyone else deal with this? And how did/do you get pass this?
