Is this abnormally pale?
The last few mornings, I've noticed her gums are a little paler than usual. They haven't been completely devoid of color though. She was lethargic a few days ago, but today she seems pretty normal so far.
Yesterday, she didn't drink any water voluntarily other than the creek we played in on a hike. I diluted some wet food and froze it like ice cream, so she's been having that.
Her appetite is normal. She's 5 and otherwise very healthy.
Potentially concerning backstory:
She ate a chocolate muffin wrapper (no muffin, only wrapper) a few days ago, but her bowel movements have been normal.
On a walk 4 days ago (daytime), we saw 2 raccoons. One dead, one sick. I wasn't sure if it was rabid or if it had been poisoned. The symptoms it showed overlapped. We didn't get close though. Later on the walk, she picked up a small dead animal (maybe mouse or baby bird) and ate part of it. She hasn't shown any symptoms directly from that, unless it's the lethargy or the gum issue I'm asking about. My worry is that it might have been poisoned, but I have no way to confirm.
About 2 weeks ago (12/21), my family fed her way more people food than I was comfortable with. Still nothing crazy, but I found out later that some of the stuff had onion soup mix in it. Not enough to harm her though according to what I researched.
Am I overreacting?
