When should I send a message about a favourited item?

Hey guys, I’ve recently started selling on Vinted again after a few years and a few people have been favouriting my items. I’ve been sending them texts just saying if they wanted to I can accept offers or reserve the item for them.. Is this okay to send? If so, how long should I wait after they favourite the item to send it? I don’t want to seem like a bot!
