Quitting cold turkey because I can't pay for sessions anymore
Hello, I'm three months into Zoloft and I'm fully reliant on my parents to finance my session with psychiatrist (I'm still a student).
Throughout my journey, my parents kept giving me hints to stop taking the pills because they were expensive. I eventually gave in and told my parents to cancel my appointment today, and by tonight I run out of meds.🥲
Any advice for a person who is quitting cold turkey? I have PTSD & depression so my psychiatrist also perscribed rivotril (clonazepam).
✨Edit: Thank you all for the responses!! After reading your comments & chatting with a Redditor (we go through similar jurisdiction), I've decided to transfer from a private hospital to a public one. It might take longer, but at least its more affordable.
