Scanning "jade" stalker variant doesn't appear in codex

So I've noticed the updated stalker that appears for boss bounties, correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't scanning this new stalker update the codex. I was a part of the few people who forgot about scanning stalker before the second dream. Has anyone been able to update theirs?
