As I said, I was not able to understand that it was ROCD until I found this sunreddit and other resources, but it took a while. At first, I was of course relieved as the anxiety went away. But after I started seeing other people and having the obsessions come back with every one of them, I started to understand that the problem is in me.

I'd say same but different with everyone. My obsessions have always mostly been about physical appearance / looks, but of course different people have different imperfections.
